STARTUP / ON BOARDING
This form is to be used after having a phone conversation with a website designer,
to start a website design project or other web service that was previously discussed with the client.
It provides information needed to agree to the Website Design Terms of the project
and provide information needed to create the deposit Invoice and start a website design project.
Once this form submission is received you will be sent an Invoice via email within 24 to 48 hours
with information on how you can pay for your order.
Once the order is paid, the order is processed and details on your order will be emailed to you.
The website design project process will then begin within a day or two after payment of deposit Invoice
and more information/direction and discussions will be needed for the project start.
Preferred Payment is by
Internet Email Money Transfer
via online banking
No payment is due by using this Website Project On-boarding Form.
An Invoice for payment will be sent to you via email address as a PDF file.
STEP ONE: Search For A Website Domain Name
Every website needs a Domain Name. Your Domain Name is your businesses online brand identity.
- If you already have a Domain Name Registered at another provider, you do not have to do this search; Skip to the form below.
- If you do not have a domain name registered yet, do a search now and when you find a domain name you want for your website, enter it in the field on the Order form.
By filling out this form, you are agreeing to the website design terms
and conditions located below the order form.

TERMS OF SERVICE (WD-TOS)
GENERAL AGREEMENT

These Website Design Terms of Service (“Agreement”) apply to all website design, redesign, development, and related services (“Services”) provided by WEBNETAVE.COM (operating as Canada Web Pro). By using our Services, you agree to the terms below.
This Agreement is intended as a general, universal contract for all website design clients. A detailed proposal or project‑specific scope may be provided upon request or when required for larger or more complex projects.
1. GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES
1.1 Included Services Website design services may include:
- Layout and design of website pages
- WordPress installation and configuration
- Theme setup and customization
- Basic on‑page SEO setup
- Mobile‑responsive formatting
- Integration of client‑provided content
- Basic contact forms
- Standard plugins required for functionality
1.2 Excluded Services (Unless Specifically Agreed) The following are not included unless explicitly agreed to in writing:
- Copywriting or content creation
- Logo design or branding
- Custom coding or application development
- Advanced SEO or marketing services
- E‑commerce setup
- Membership systems
- Third‑party integrations beyond basic plugins
- Photography or videography
- Legal compliance (privacy policies, accessibility, etc.)
1.3 Additional Work Any work outside the general scope is billed at our standard hourly rate.
2. PAYMENT TERMS
2.1 Deposit A non‑refundable deposit is required before any work begins.
2.2 Remaining Balance The remaining balance is due upon project completion and before the website goes live.
2.3 Non‑Refundable Items The following are always non‑refundable:
- Hosting plans
- Domain registrations
- SSL certificates
- Premium themes or plugins
- Stock photos
- Third‑party licenses
- Any completed work or hours already performed
2.4 Client Delays Do Not Pause Billing If the client delays the project by failing to provide content, approvals, or access, payments remain due as scheduled.
3. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 Content Delivery The client must provide all text, images, and materials required for the website.
3.2 Timely Communication The client must respond to requests, approvals, and questions within a reasonable timeframe (typically 3–5 business days).
3.3 Content Ownership The client is responsible for ensuring they own the rights to all content provided.
3.4 Account Access The client must provide access to hosting, domain, or third‑party accounts when required.
4. PROJECT TIMELINES
4.1 Estimated Timelines Only All timelines are estimates and may change due to revisions, delays, or technical issues.
4.2 Client Delays If the client becomes unresponsive for more than 14 days, the project may be paused.
4.3 Dormant Projects Projects inactive for 30 days may be marked dormant and subject to a restart fee.
4.4 Abandoned Projects Projects inactive for 60 days may be closed with no refund.
5. REVISIONS
5.1 Included Revisions A reasonable number of revisions are included, depending on the project size.
5.2 Additional Revisions Extra revisions or redesigns are billed at our hourly rate.
5.3 Revision Definition A revision is a modification to existing content — not new content or new features.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 Client Content The client retains ownership of all content they provide.
6.2 Final Website Ownership Upon full payment, the client owns the final website output (HTML, CSS, images, etc.).
6.3 Developer Tools & Code WEBNETAVE.COM retains ownership of:
- proprietary code
- frameworks
- scripts
- development tools
- reusable components
These may be reused in future projects.
6.4 Licensing Stock photos, themes, and plugins are subject to their respective licenses.
7. THIRD‑PARTY SERVICES
7.1 No Liability for Third‑Party Failures We are not responsible for outages, bugs, or changes caused by:
- WordPress core updates
- Plugin or theme updates
- Hosting outages
- Third‑party APIs
- Google, Meta, or other platform changes
7.2 Plugin Compatibility Some plugins may not be compatible with your hosting environment.
8. WEBSITE LAUNCH & SUPPORT
8.1 Launch Requirements Final payment must be received before launch.
8.2 Post‑Launch Support Support after launch is limited to fixing launch‑related issues for 7 days.
8.3 Maintenance Plans Ongoing updates, security, and support require a maintenance plan or hourly billing.
9. WARRANTIES & LIMITATIONS
9.1 No Guarantee of SEO Ranking We do not guarantee search engine rankings or traffic.
9.2 No Guarantee of Legal Compliance We do not provide legal advice. The client is responsible for:
- privacy policies
- accessibility compliance
- CASL compliance
- PIPEDA compliance
- industry‑specific regulations
AODA Compliance Disclaimer
WEBNETAVE.COM (operating as Canada Web Pro) builds accessibility‑friendly websites using modern best practices; however, we do not guarantee AODA or WCAG compliance, nor do we provide full accessibility audits, remediation, documentation, staff training, or compliance reporting required for organizations with 50 or more employees under Ontario law. Full AODA compliance is a client responsibility and requires internal policies, testing, and procedures beyond the scope of website design services. Clients who require full AODA/WCAG compliance must engage a qualified accessibility specialist.
9.3 Security Disclaimer We are not liable for:
- hacking
- malware
- security breaches
- data loss
- hosting outages
9.4 Limitation of Liability Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the project.
10. TERMINATION
10.1 Client‑Initiated Termination If the client cancels the project:
- Deposits are non‑refundable
- Completed work is billable
- Hosting fees remain non‑refundable
10.2 Provider‑Initiated Termination We may terminate the project for:
- non‑payment
- abusive behaviour
- illegal activity
- repeated delays
11. CONFIDENTIALITY
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non‑public information shared during the project.
12. PORTFOLIO RIGHTS
Unless the client requests otherwise in writing, WEBNETAVE.COM may:
- display the completed website in our portfolio
- use screenshots for marketing
- list the client as a customer
13. INDEMNIFICATION
The client agrees to indemnify and hold WEBNETAVE.COM harmless from any claims arising from:
- client‑provided content
- copyright violations
- illegal activity
- misuse of the website
14. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control, including:
- natural disasters
- power outages
- illness
- internet failures
- third‑party service outages
15. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada.
